He brought along his Boker razor, a very nice razor and I touched it up on an Apart barber hone, a Thuringen and a chrome ox paddle strop. It seemed to have been used a bit improperly while stropping.
Eric unfortunately was caught in the Ebay web of deceit and got stuck with a bunch of low grade razors, strop, DE & replaceable blade wonders . Fortunately for me Rod Bell ( Studioguy)
also joined in again and helped answer a lot of questions. We did replace the linen component with a much better cotton webbing and told him how to work with his strop. He also left with a homemade chrome ox paddle strop.
We covered proper stropping technique, shaving technique and beard prep. Actually both Rod and me performed a shaving demo for him!
