I did it again! Just scored my second Crat! 1948-1950 Crat in nice shape. Of course I'll post pics when the new baby arrives! In the meantime--yahooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!Should have it by end of this week. Is it here yet???

Yes they are. Now I can get my '47 replated and shave with the '48-'50. They are addicting,eh?!?!

Yeah, i have one near mint cased so i don't use that. The other , one is nearly mint plating wise, missing endcaps though, the other the plating sucks, so im in the process of removing the gold to the nickel underneath.

I've been jumping around in my rotation, but I always find my way back to my '46/47 Aristocrat. I have four but like the man said, I don't use the cherry ones. IMHO these razors are the best of Gillettes lineup. If I could keep only one razor, it would be an Aristocrat.

one of my favourite go to razors, i dont think it gets the respect it deserves, maybe because its gold plated and a lot of them look a bit shabby after 60 odd years of use, if these were done in rhodium or even nickel plate they would be seen as a true classic, the ones i have seen replated in rhodium and nickel look amazing, hopefully within the next week or two i will have the aristocrats rhodium handled cousin the president to compare the two.
