38C Makes a Love Connection

For me, the 38C has very often caused various razor blades to under-perform (meaning that they worked better in other razors). Thus, when my 38C meets the right blade in a love connection, it is newsworthy, at least for me. So, for 38C users, try Personna Platinum Chrome blades, available online from Walmart (which also means a good price).

Today was the fourth or fifth shave for this blade and it was at least as good as the first. Smooth, close, no blood, no irritation, even ATG in the neck area. (FYI, used Razorock Fresco and Semogue 2011 LE Bristle 2, the best boar I have tried).

Thanks Teddy, I have a 38c and have been using walgreens for now as I was anxious to get started and it was all I could find as I am very impatient and wanted to get started, I have Astra SP on deck

Glad you found a nice match! I like personna labs or meds for their longevity and smoothness in my 38c. I haven't tried the platinum chrome yet.

Oh Dear! I have got to become more familiar with model numbers for razors. When I saw "38C Love Connection" an entirely different type of ''model" came to mind and I appended the numbers 24 and 38 almost automatically.

Fresco from RR is excellent stuff. It's the only RR product I refused to let go of. Plus I just like saying the name while rolling the R. "Frrrrrrresco"!
