3 Boti Synthetic Knots

I ordered three 28mm synthetic knots from Boti - Thin Tuxedo, White Synthetic, Black Synthetic. Pictures are below. That is the order of increasing backbone. The tips of all three are soft, but the low backbone makes the Thin Tuxedo feel the softest. Note the difference in spread, yet they are all 28mm knots.

The Thin Tuxedo is essentially a black Motherlode knot. I had bought the 2024 Thick Tuxedo, but that is more stiff than I prefer. Same with the N3C.

Good question, @Noclue, I am not sure and I haven't set them yet. I am very spoiled by my Wald, so trying to get something a little bit similar to that, knowing that isn't quite possible. I have a 28mm motherlode, same as the thin tuxedo, it is the softest of anything I've tried. I set it deep to give it a little less floppy and it works pretty well. I'm going to try the white one, it has more backbone and I hope not too much, as I like really soft like the Wald.

Bang for the buck cheap soft brush - I'd recommend the 26mm Yaqi rainbow pony. I don't have badgers to compare to, sorry.
