I posted this on another forum and didn't get any answers, just a lot of "wow, that would be so cool..."

I thought this stuff looked cool and figured I'd post it up. I figure the 2 oz. size kit for $299 would probably be enough to do four or five razors and 4 or five brush handles. Thoughts and opinions on how long you guys think this stuff would last on a razor or brush handle?

2 oz. of paint will cover approx. 3 ft. I'm guessing that would cover ten razors? That would drop the price per razor down to a manageable $30 per razor. Do you guys think that the finish would be durable enough to make this worthwhile? I rinse and dry my razors after every use. Same with my brushes and brush handles.

seems like it might be sticky against the face and give the head of the razor trouble gliding over the skin, but it might not i suppose. cool idea, i'm sure there's some interest. personally i'm into the metallic look and would keep my razors/brushes as they are.

Heh heh.. when I saw the title, I was expecting to see some new Gillette razor with color changing LED lighting on it  .

I think I'd pass on this...

There's spraypaint out there that's not heat activated that gives a similar chameleon effect for less than $10...I wouldn't paint a razor with it..but it'd be fun for something.

Too bad that paint is so expensive, it would be interesting to paint a CAR with it! ESPECIALLY here in the desert...

I never even thought about the stickiness. The paint kit does come with hardeners so that might offset the stickiness.
