Great ad. I love how you can see that gillette is already getting worried about competition on the blade front. Too bad that you can't say the dame thing today about using a Merkur blade in Merkur razor.

Thanks for posting this, I like the old ads, especially the part at the end about the Gillette sponsored radio program.

Given that it is from 1937, I wonder if people were switching to (presumably) cheaper non-Gillette blades because of the depression?
