List of Gillette Shanghai Blades

Fellow Chinese KCG lovers, gather ‘round!

I apologize in advance if there is already a similar thread, but I was not able to find one. I am curious if there is a list somewhere of blades made in the “Gillette Shanghai” factory that now produces the KCG blades?

I have really enjoyed using the Chinese KCG blades and would love to try out some other blades from the same factory, whether under a Gillette brand or something else. If anyone has pictures, that is all the better, as all of the Gillette blades can be very tough to keep straight.

Hopefully this can spur some good discussion and some new discoveries.

Thanks, all!

Ones I am aware of, and I could very well be mistaken about some of these:

Jianyu ( Swordfish label blue white )
Flying Eagle
Gillette Wilkinson Sword ( I don't think they are currently in production there but I see RBC has them in stock still )
Gillette London Bridge
Gillette Platinum
KGC
Gillette – Super Blue
Gillette – Super Thin Blue
Rhino
Super Gillette Blue

Also of note, some brands are made in more than one Gillette factory concurrently-

KCG blades are made in China, but are also made in Brazil:

Aside from India, Astra Stainless are also made in Brazil:

There are too many fake razor blades in China. Even locals find it difficult to buy genuine razor blades from Gillette's Shanghai factory. They need to find reliable purchasing channels.

Nice pic, though many or all of the labels are older versions. At least a few are discontinued:Gillette Super Thin for Vietnam, Gillette Goal Stainless (Platinum version of both blades still in production) and Gillette Platinum (blue and silver wrapper)

Zooming in on the pic, it looks like the year of manufacture and date code is written on many of the blades. Is it your pic, OP?

We can see that ‘2001’ is written on the London Bridge. While many have the impression that the Gillette London Bridge is a new (as of something like 4 years ago) blade and just a copy of the famed, vintage London Bridge made by Wilkinson Sword, it seems it is rather that it is just the case that we on the shaving boards have only become aware of their existence more recently. Apparently Gillette has been producing the London Bridge for quite a while. And - they’ve owned the rights to the London Bridge name since the 1960’s (same goes for Wilkinson Sword). Though perhaps Gillette took a break from manufacturing the brand, as they have done in the past with Polsilver for example.

Also - I’m not sure that Gillette London Bridge is still made in China at all. The ones I purchased in Vietnam this year are made in India (an absolutely stellar blade) and looking at newer pics of the Thai distributed box, the blade printing seems to have changed to match the Viet/Indian made version. Not sure about the Indonesian version on hanging card, it may still be made in China. The Viet box also has Indonesian script on it.

This is the photo I took. I think it was made in the Shanghai factory in 2001.
The manufacturing of London Bridge may be transferred from China to India in 2023.

Some of these blades are all from the early 2000s?
Are the others pre-2000 or 2008 like the Flying Eagles blades?
Is this correct?

Most of them have time codes, which I have marked, and there are a few that do not have time codes, which I believe were produced in the 1990s.
