10k Naniwa / 1u diamond paste

Hi,
Recently I added a 10k superstone to my 5/8k set. Till now I used 1u diamond after 8k as finish. Is it still usefull to use it after the 10k also? Because grit is nearly the same (1u).

This is easy for you to test yourself, but my experience is that .25 micron diamond would be a better choice after a 10k stone.

I'd use a smaller particle size like .5 or .25 micron. When honing on the Naniwa Super Stones I generally were using .3 CrOx powder on balsa after the 12K SS.
