We also spent 2 1/2 hours walking the Houston Zoo.

Well done!!

This morning I did a 94 minute walk. It seemed like the thing to do at the time. We are driving home from Houston this afternoon so I knew there would be lots of sitting. Needed to get in a longer session.
Final dead lift session of 6 week ‘intro to power lifting’ at the Y. I pulled 275lbs.

Unacceptably Lasering Chicken Giblets?
I skipped a long walk yesterday and only managed 6,898 steps for the day. I was beat and dragging the whole day.
Hopefully I’ll get in 90 minutes of something tonight. The drive home from Houston took its toll on me. Really gusty winds and heavy rain. And to top it off; an idiot who ran from DPS on 281 and shut down the highway. We had a 2 hour detour on farm to market roads with really strong thunderstorms, deep ruts in the roads, and idiots passing on 2 lane roads that don’t see this much traffic in a year. It was just brutal.

The only good thing coming out of the trip is that the neurologists and Neurosurgeon say all is progressing nicely!!
Back to Houston in two weeks
