Saturday morning 9/4 shave on 2 days of growth. Easy BBS after WTG/XTG/ATG passes, and no nicks or irritation. I learned from the previous shave to go easy under the lower lip.

Razor: 1958 D2 Gillette TV Special (Super Speed)

Tonight's shave on 2.5 days of growth. BBS after WTG/XTG/ATG passes, and no nicks. Felt resistance ATG under the nose, and irritation happened here - blade starting to lose its edge? Deducting .1 for that.

Happy Labor Day, everyone!

An awesome shave this morning!

-ATT Mixed metal CR1
-Nacet (2nd)
-PAA Amber Aerolite
-Capt choice copper bowl

-PAA Ice Cube
-PAA Camp Phoenix soap and splash

This soap and splash are amazing. During the shave, I smelled like a camp fire. About 6/10 scent strength which is perfect. After, I smelled like Graham crackers, toasted marshmallows and cinnamon. This is amazing.

My wife said this is her favorite set I've ever bought.

The razor is absolutely beautiful. Super smooth and efficient. Super smooth and efficient enough to get me bbs in 3 passes.

Result: 10/10
Pre-Shave: Cold water splash - PAA Tube 2.0
Soap: Phoenix and Beau Imperial Rum
Brush: Yaqi Violet synthetic
Razor: RazoRock Lupo SS SB .72
Blade: King C. Gillette (3)
Post-Shave: Cold water splash - Stirling Bay Rum-scented Witch Hazel - Lucky Tiger face tonic
AS: WSP Bay Rum

An easy shave...not much to do after yesterday's mowing. First use with the Phoenix and Beau...very nice soap. Pleasantly surprised. Didn't know what to expect, but this tallow-based soap bloomed perfectly and was thick, rich and slick. My wife is so-so on Bay Rum and she actually liked the scent of this one. Definitely will stay in the rotation. The King C. Gillette blade feels like it could go another three or more shaves. All in all a very smooth and easy shave.

Happy Shaves, Everyone!

Razor: Razorock Lupo 72
Blade: 7 O’clock Super Platinum (2)
Brush: Sea Glass / Nexus
Soap: Stirling Electric Sheep
Aftershave: Stirling Bay Rum

Good morning! So my chapstick died yesterday, and I had the idea to make a shave stick with the container. My plan is to use it everyday for at least a week to see if a chapstick sized amount of soap will last that long. I don’t do much traveling, but it does happen from time to time.
It is a little on the small side for application purposes - It seemed to take forever to cover my face, and then only made enough lather for one pass, and had to do it again the second time around, but it worked. The Stirling soap is pretty soft, so I may just advance enough I think will do two passes and stick it to my brush next time.
That all said, great lather, and the Lupo / 7 O’clock black, is a very smooth, very efficient combo. I will need to get more of these blades. Finished with Stirling Bay Rum

9.5/10

Razor: Merkur 34G

Brush: Frank Shaving Silvertip Badger, Chrome, 22mm

ARKO After Shave Balm

Derby is a good cream. I have the Lemon also. The razor and blade paired well. Post Shave was good too. A Very close and smooth finish. No nicks or weepers or razor burn. 9.5

Have a great day everyone [emoji106]

Razor: GEM MMOC
Blade: GEM PTFE
Brush: Omega 10104 Boar
Soap: PAA CaD CK6
Lather: Face
Post: Thayers WH Aloe
Aftershave: Mennen Skin Bracer

The Shave: Four WTG passes for a DFS- shave. It was the first use of the 10104 boar brush so I decided to do multiple passes to see how it did with lathering, flow through, splay, and face feel. I kept to all light touch WTG passes to ensure I had a nice shave with zero irritation.
The brush is tight but, it really painted a nice lather. It also didn’t seem to hog much lather, perhaps due to the smaller knot size. CaD & Skin Bracer we’re made for each other.
Great exploratory shave, nice results, face looks smooth and feels pretty good. 8.5/10.
