Schick Karona

Used a Schick Karona with plastic handle this morning and got a nice, comfortable shave.
Did Schick make the Karona with an all metal handle?

It's Krona, not Karona, FYI.

I don't know if they made one with a metal handle, but they did make one that was adjustable. It's rare, though.

The regular Krona is a nice shaver, though. Enjoy.

One thing, the razor is very light much lighter than any vintage Gillette I have.

You might have the later ones with the black plastic TTO tip. The earlier versions had chrome tip, short and long. They feel heavier, but never checked to see. Many prefer the longer Krona handles to the shorter Gillette DE type.

Schick Krona’s are fantastic razors. I prefer the longer handle ones.

I do not think you will disappointed. I've use Feather, Astra SP, and other brands that I had on hand. The long handle sets it apart from all others. Make ATG on the neck a breeze.

I have just tried my Schick Krona.
What can I say?
WOW!
It feels very good in the hand and I really like the balance of this razor.
Three passes and a little clean up and I did get a real DFS
It is a mild razor, but very efficient.
I loaded it with an Astra SP, and used Arko shaving stick and a new budget brush from "nom" and I finished the whole thing with a very pleasant After Shave Balm from Hega.
