Never thought I could shave at this setting

This is @Cal's GC .84. Lots of gap but still negative blade exposure.

My GC84 has ±0 blade exposure Mike (or +0.1mm if a Kai blade is used). I think you need to invest in some glasses.

This morning I shaved with a Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade (made in India), which has been a particularly harsh blade for me in the past, but revisited it using setting 7 on the first pass, and 9 afterward, and it came out pretty nice. Not Astra smooth, but smooth enough to be tolerable. Still, there is a slight edge of smoothness with the Astras that I've been unable to find in any other blade.
My point here is that definitively a more aggressive setting makes a blade smoother instead of harsher.

I tried 9 on my Slim this morning on a 36-hour beard. It seemed a little too strong for me, and I'll probably go back to lower settings.
