I was going for a mellow Monday shave and chose what I thought was a light scent. An hour or so after it's still with me and I'm getting a musky scent that I'm not a fan of. The soap was nice, easy load, lots of lather, very smooth. It and the AS will likely go into my PIF box.

The lather today was incredible. I’m starting to get the Icarus base. The Gillette blacks are growing on me as well. 3 passes today and no fear while I went ATG. I love the scent of LFDL on the puck and during the shave. I’ll see how the dry down goes but it’s sweeter and more powder in the post shave and less forest than I was hoping. Still one of my favorite scents so far. Face feels tremendous at the moment as well. I used less splash than I would toner and made sure my face was wetter and the splash didn’t tear my face up. If I love the scent I may go looking for a toner in the next couple days

Cold wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Soap.

Brush: Omega S10065.

Face Lather.

Soap : Phoenix & Beau ~ Sanskrit.

Blade: Rapira Platinum Lux .(2)

Razor: Weishi 2.0 Adjustable. (Settings) wtg,4. xtg,5. atg,+pick ups 6.

Cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade Lavender + Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Boots ~ Freshwood Aftershave.


Bulldog ~ Original Aftershave Balm.

Another early morning shave..

Last year in july i entered a'pif' to win some near full P&B soaps kindly put up for grabs by a kind fellow member of TSR (UK) to my amazement and luck my name was randomly picked as the winner!..Anyway to my dreadful forgetfulness it's only now that i've finally got round to trying out the Sanskrit soap.The verdict?....Like all of the other P&B soaps i've tried it's lathering performance was amazingly good, out the four soaps that i won this one had been used the most, I understand why, it's fragrance is fantastic, which matches it's lathering performance, slickness & protection leaving a wonderful post shave feeling to my face...A superb soap, which if i didn't already have such a quantity of soaps & creams to use up, i would seriously consider placing a order for some, A very possible birthday present to myself, but that won't be until june..so for now,i'm sticking to my 'No More Buying Shaving Related Items', at least until my birthday, which isn't until june.

The weishi adj is becoming a regular favourite of mine,it's efficient,but with great smoothness ,i've found my shaving angle with it,and feel totally confident when shaving with this chinese made princess, it also paired together superbly with the rapira platinum lux blade.

Another very comfortable 3 pass + pick ups near bbs shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave of with a generous dollop of Bulldog ~ Original Aftershave Balm.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling devine.
