I was inspired by a thread on another forum and manned up for Midnight Stag. Off the sample it's straight up leather but lathering up it mellows out a bit. It's actually quite nice. I thought the Sherlock splash would do well to tame it a bit but in hindsight maybe Ghost Town Barber would have been a better match.

Reef Point Submariner today. 20 seconds to load the Honey Farm/TGN Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Wilkinson Sword “Light Brigade” NEW Chromium still in the Gillette NEW Short Comb. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Reef Point Submariner aftershave.

Oh, this shave has that come hither look to it, Josh. CL's Fourth & Pine is on my list. How do you like it as a toner?

Ron; you've got to grab the Fourth & Pine! It's one of my most favorite scents...next year, there will be an EdC...I'd been pining for it ever since I smelled it, lol. Chatillon Lux toners are the best out there, IMO. Very light feel, the scents last a couple of hours, and it's pure nourishment and hydration for your face.

warm wet flannel to my face.

Wilkinsons Fruits~ Coconut & Vanilla Body Butter.

Brush: Semogue 830.

Face Lather.

Soap : Arko Shaving Stick.

Blade: Voskhod T.C.(1)

Razor: Merkur 39C .

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Alum Block. /Cold Water Face Rinse/The Real Shaving Co ~Post shave Soothing Balm.

Floid~ Mentolado Vigoroso Aftershave

A fantastic 3 pass + pick ups DFS with no errors to report.

My 39C/Voskhod T.C. was such a wonderful efficient match, which mowed through my stubble effortlessly. The arko stick provided me with a superb slick protective lather and a good post shave feeling to my face.

Finishing the shave of with generous splash of Floid ~ Mentolado Vigoroso Aftershave... One of my all time favourite aftershave splashes,along with Brut ~Attraction Totale..i love them both equally.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling devine.
