Gotta love that long comb! one of my favorite razors - I wish mine had the ball end...

I prefer it to both my Slim and Fatboy razors (although both are great shavers in their own right). One nice thing about them is that both the ball end and fat handle razors are fairly easy to come by.

Lovely creamy rose and patchouli lather from the Queen Charlotte.
First time I have used a vintage blade in the Rockwell but it performed brilliantly. Refreshing splash of the Reserve 'Cool' and I am set.

You know, Joe the Razorock guy, did this great soap, Santa Maria del Fiore, obviously as a copy of Santa Maria Novella. Same script, nice jar, similar scent and ingredients.
However he did not copy the "date" field, which for SMN is "1612"!
Otherwise, for Razorock, would have been "2015"!
But, I enjoyed it anyway!

Murray, that 's a nice tip! SMN is above my price range, but I could give this a try. Those guys are putting out some great values for us wetshavers.

Thanks Ron! I love this cream. It's not a premium one but it has a wonderful "nautical" scent, and fantastic performance. In terms of value for money it's the best. There's some uncertainty about its future though... there are rumors about reformulation at best or discontinuation at worst.
