Marco

Here is my personal list of top ten shaving creams:

Truefitt & Hill: Ultimate Comfort, 1805, West Indian Limes;

Geo F. Trumper: Coconut Oil, Rose, Violet;

Taylor of Old Bond Street: Avocado, Rose, Lavender;

Is there anyone else who shares the same list?
And, in general, what's your opinion of my list above?

Thanks,

Here in Bulgaria there aren't much high end creams like Truefitt and Hill,Crabtree and Evelyn or whatsoever :mad3:I've always wanted to try Proraso because I've heard it was really good but they just don't have it in stores here :sad:

I have shaved with:
Karo* Classic Shaving Cream - It smells nice and it is a Bulgarian shaving cream in production since 1969
Karo* Fresh - with menthol extract
Barbon - A nice Hungarian shaving cream with chlorophil extract
Top Ten/yes there is a shaving cream with such a name/ - Another Bulgarian shaving cream. Personally I don't like it.

There are also creams on the market here I haven't tried:
Karo* Sensitive
Kupa* - It is a Karo rip-off but I've heard it is quite nice
Viking - Another Bulgarian one
Denim
Nivea

*Note : "Karo" and "Kupa" in Bulgarian mean "Diamonds" and "Hearts" a.k.a playing card symbols :laugh:

In no particular order, I'd recommend:

Palmolive
Nivea/Florena
Speick
Musgo Real
Castle Forbes (any of them, but I currently own the cedar/sandalwood)
ToBS Avocado
Proraso/C.O. Bigelow

:001_smile Thanks . I think I might find Nivea and Palmolive in some supermarkets here, otherwise I hope I can find some of them when I go to Vienna :001_smile I also forgot to mention Aro shaving cream which is found in Metro Cash and Carry and I've heard really good stuff about it. By the way has anyone here tried the Hungarian made Barbon? And what about the other creams made by Caola-Alfa , in particular Derby and Figaro? While my father was in Austria I told him to stop by in Budapest to get my a Derby but he said he couldn't find it:mad3:
