What's new

FS Nice vintage DE sale: Senator, Rocket TV Special, Citizen Tech gift set, rhodium Slim, British Velvet II, more...

Offering these razors from my collection as they see too little use. Please see all pictures for condition and let me know if you need more.

All prices are fixed for now, all are lower than what I paid myself. First buyer to PM full buy commitment gets. Buyer chooses shipping method and owns risk. I am in Europe/EU. Standard shipping without Track&Trace/insurance worldwide 10-16 EUR depending on weight (I only ship carefully wrapped in solid box, adds to the weight). Other shipping options please PM but just so you know: tracking out of my country is expensive (30-45 EUR depending on destination).

Thanks for looking.

1938 Gillette Senator - 40 EUR
Great condition razor with no issues at all.

1958 Gillette Rocket Flare Tip TV Special - 80 EUR
Great condition specimen, great mechanics and full plating including the original rhodium handle. The Rocket Flare Tip is in my top 5 of shaving tools but I have too many.

1965 K2 fully refurbished rhodium Slim - 65 EUR
I had this Slim fully mechanically refurbished by Captain Murphy and then rhodium plated by razorplate.com. And added Coca-Cola red numbering for coolness. But I never used it due to other fine razors incl 2 other Slims. The refurbishment alone was 130 USD.

1960s Citizen 3-piece Tech clone, full gift set - 80 EUR
Fun Tech clone set in great condition. Very grippy and cool unusual handle. The razor has a couple of small spots on the handle, otherwise in superb condition. Cool set.

1935-39 Joseph Potter Velvet Mark II - 40 EUR
Great condition. 3-piece razor. 47g with a total length of 82mm, nickel plate on brass. Takes standard DE blades. It was retailed exclusively through F.W. Woolworth's stores. The handle is a hollow ball-end style but has a thick tube and doesn't seem to suffer the same stress cracks as the Gillette handles of the same time period.

1940s Berkeley w/built-in shim - 15 EUR
No issues. Solid user grade appearance. Shim works great.

1940s G.E. Jones Shake Sharp full set - 40 EUR
Great condition set. Cool and great shaving razor which uses regular DE blades. Case closes firmly shut.

I thought the tv specials were all regular superspeeds? There's a Flair Tip rocket tv special?... or are all Flair Tip rockets tv specials?
I've got 2 Flair Tip rockets, stamped made in England with II on them...tv specials?

There was a TV Special both within the US made Super-Speed Flare Tip model line and within the British made Rocket Flare Tip line.
