The more I use this new Tony Miller 3" cotton component, the more I enjoy it. Not like any other cotton I have used, in use it most resembles some lightweight single-ply vintage linen components I've found.
Fast, light draw, well paired with the smooth steerhide. This combo is top tier!
More vintage April. Illinois Razor Strop is still going strong, but they haven't made an 8449 for many long years. This one looks a bit wavy, but once I apply a little traction the draw is smooth and sweet. Genuine Horse Hide and linen. Revived using saddle soap and Fromm Strop Dressing.
