This is my second shave in a row with the Feather AS-D2 razor and Feather blade. This is my favorite blade in this razor. Today’s brush is a nice badger brush: the Morris & Forndran 2XL finest. The brush does a nice job of loading soap and makes great lather. The Williams was used for the 34th time. A perfect shave. Have a great day, folks.

Razor : Razorock Game changer.84 SSP with a RR Radio knob handle. Mfg 2018>, tame mid range. Excellent machining and Finish QC + great design and affordable. I like to use a Kai extra wide in this razor for a little more blade feel and it just works wonders for performance. Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Kai SS extra wide(3) this blade is sharp and smooth with excellent longevity. Perfect blade for milder razors that need a boost and will always have a few tucks around for those razors that still perform well.
Soap : Ach Brito Lavanda, a very nice mild scented lavender with a touch of mint with some of the best lather qualities I have used.
Brush : Yaqi "Aqua" 24mm high mountain 3band badger. Excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : Dial 10 stellar.jpg or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=:a17: Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning with my RR GC.84 with a Kai SS blade.

Have some great shaves!

Tuesday evening shave (have an early morning tomorrow):

Razor: Mühle R89 with DSC handle
Blade: Gillette Rubie
Brush: Mühle Purist Silvertip Badger Ebonite
Bowl: DSC Scuttle
Cream: TOBS Royal Forest (Sample)
Post shave: TOBS Royal Forest (Sample)

Three passes today (WTG, ATG , XTG). The R89 puts me to work to achieve that closer shave. It is often touted as the beginner’s razor and I guess its mild nature might play a part in that sentiment, but to truly achieve greatness I come to believe it requires a steady and seasoned hand.

Still a great shaver: forgiving and mild for the novice taking the first steps into DE shaving, yet demanding and challenging for the one who truly wants to wield it on the path to mastery.

Brush: Shavemac "Kleiner Bayer" Silvertip D01 2-Band 14/42
Soap: Grooming Dept Pura
Razor: Baili BT131 on custom olive wood handle
Blade: Gillette 7o'clock Black (6)
ASL: Hogwarts Express [home brew]

A superb shave.

This inexpensive Baili is a fabulous razor. The (not so inexpensive) Pura is a fabulous soap… it's just a pity that it smells so strongly of sickly sweet honey. So, another of my highly fragranced ASLs saved the day by killing the Pura "aroma." All in all a fine hardware and software team. :001_cool:

Happy shaves guys. :cornut:
