I don't think I could listen to Tchaikovshy's 1812 Overture and straight shave without cutting myself to ribbons!

A real rough, heavy vintage wedge. This straight is the oldest one in my den, note used often, but 100% shave ready. I decided to keep the vintage look because it had no rust or pitting. After some negative sharpening efforts I gave it to a wedge-expert who did a great job. The edge is now mirror polished. It shaves not as soft as silk, but it doesn't feel rude

It's really a great looking vintage Wade and Butcher! I especially like that you left it with a vintage appearance and still made it shave ready. The photo inserts clearly attests to the keen edge and shave readiness of the blade. I have seen your other new and beautifully detailed straights but some like this one should be kept to show its historical value as well. Excellent work, what a beauty!
