I finished up the last of my proraso for my head shave. I'm using up my menthol shave soaps/creams. I'm just not a huge fan of the cooling sensation while shaving (aftershaves are okay though). The valobra definitely doesn't have a strong cooling sensation, but for me it is much more enjoyable than proraso. The scent of valobra needs some work though.

I predicted, when I first got this brush, that it couldn't be a daily shaver because it is too dense and scrubby. I don't know if my face is just getting used to it or if the brush is 'breaking in' a little more, but I've used it every day for the past week or so and it's working great. I am craving a smaller knot size, though, and I find myself dangerously lurking the Rooney section at VB. It's inevitable, really. I'll have a new brush pretty soon.
