I worked in the garden all day, so as a reward I took my time for a nice straight razor shave, which I haven't tried in a while. I stropped between passes, but still couldn't get the chin and moustache areas shaved with the straight. The blade just stops on the whiskers! Oh well, will keep trying.

Now to sit down and watch the start of the Stanley Cup Finals! Not sure who to cheer for, some good Canadian boys on both teams! Might go with the underdogs and cheer on Sid the kid!

Use a smaller angle, and stretch the skin more. I'm new to straights but ever since I started doing that my chin has been bbs. Confident short strokes, and you should never have to strop in between passes.

All in all a good shave. A little more irritation that I would like, however I got BBS. I switched out the blade into my 34G in order to dial back the drama of the fatboy. Also, I resurrected the "Gillette slide". Definitely need to use this more.
