Ice Fishing

Finally got cold here, punch a hole or two next Monday! Get up to Wheatland or Lake John in a couple weeks for some decent sized fish.

Ice fishing season is a go up here! Planning to get out a couple times next week, over the Christmas Holidays. I've been waiting all year and the ice came early. Woohoo!!

I used to go ice fishing from time to time when I lived in Wisconsin. Mostly, it was something to do in winters when there wasnt enough snow to go snowmobiling.
I dont get to do much ice fishing here in Ohio though. Unless its a harsh winter, we usually dont get enough ice for it to be safe.
