Imperial measurement!
I am actually kinda relieved its not here yet....wait wait wait hear me out! I don't come into a big enough check to put the money aside until next week! I was worried it would come out and I would miss the boat. Now I KNOW i can put enough aside for one if not TWO! WHoo HOO!!! But that doesn't mean I have not bitten all my nails off in anticipation!

Good news: It just arrived about 3 minutes ago - and it's simply phenomenal. I can't wait to use this knot - seems like it's going to be a real dandy! I love it's lines - one of the mods dubbed it - "The Grecian Urn"
Bad news: I don't know how the hell i am going to take a worthy picture of this - it's black and extremely polished - with VERY elegant/fine lines - which make it a pain in the rear to take a pic of. I tried to snap a few with my iPhone so that it would give you fellas a fix before I took some really sharp pics tomorrow, but I couldn't get one that would do this thing justice.
Stay tuned - you fellas are in for some eye candy tomorrow!

a cheapie photo trick. Get a cardboard box and cut one side off adjacent to the opening. Line it with white computer paper on all the insides including the cut away side. Use an unshaded bright lamp on the side that is lined only with paper. Creates a background light which will help reduce some shadows from a flash.

Oh no worries - I have a professional light box, and a Nikon D200 with a 60mm micro lens to put to work on it. Unfortunately though - my iPhone camera is a wicked ***.

A Whole ARMY of Badger and Blade Badger Brush Warriors are anxiously in need of an update. We are starting to see the beginnings of dispersion amongst the ranks. A very few are looking elsewhere while the rest hold tightly onto budgeted hopes in time for Christmas. We need the slightest sliver of encouragement to provide further means to belief.
