That is really great to hear. I have a full set of ATT plates now, so I suspect I'll end up with their SE's as well. But reading what you just wrote is really helpful. I might just have to pull the trigger on the RX 1st. The money is nothing to sneeze at but it's about what all of the really good ones cost nowadays.I debated with the same exact issue you're dealing with. And I just read through forums and reviews until I gave myself a headache. For me they were neck and neck to be honest. But I took a chance with the RX. When I made the purchase, I started doubting that I had made the right decision. When I got the razor in my hands and loaded a blade in it, and made that first pass, brother the doubt was gone. I haven't looked back since. $230 is nothing to sneeze at, but I'm glad I spent it. Not a single regret amigo.....
I just purchased a Blackhawk. It should get to me in a couple of weeks. That will be my first experience with an SE. I'll see how that goes for a few shaves and then I'm sure I won't be able to resist and will have to pick up the RX.
I'm a little worried as I've read so much about its aggressiveness. I could easily use an H1 as my daily driver from the ATT line and have. But it is really aggressive. So I use the R1 which is actually quite mild for me. I would say I have a medium beard with somewhat sensitive skin. So the aggressiveness of the RX makes me just a little nervous.
