I was able to pull the knot out of the EverReady handle right in the store, man I like it when they fall out without much of a struggle!

The other object is blade dispenser. Filled with M&T blades. I'll give one of them a try, but I have a feeling they aren't going to take the place of my stockpiled Iridium's.

rockviper

I got moves like Jagger
Santa brought me:
- TOBS Rose cream
- TRSC Sensitive skin cream

and pleading with SWMBO about Boxing Weeks specials got me:
- Le Grelot ($100 discount)

For Christmas I got the following addition to my little "antique old-world" after-shave collection:

Christmas Gifts from the In-Laws:
Super Badger brush
Brush stand
C&E Sienna soap
C&E Sienna After Shave Balm

Christmas Gifts from Myself:
Bought from West Coast Shaving
Merkur 1904/1906 DE Razor
Sample blade pack

I think this is a good start to my wet shaving journey.

Sweet Acquisitions TonyN. The C.O. Bigelow Shave Cream is great .

Thanks Jason...I'm going to try it tomorrow. So far I've only used the Triple Milled Soap. I like the scent, but I'm still working on a good lather with it. 1st one was too watery. The second time was a whole lot better and more slick.

Haven't posted here for a while because:

1. I've been slack in my hunting
2. I think I cleaned up most of the razors locally worth snaffing

However you still need to do the rounds once and a while.

Found this today....ANOTHER Rocket HD ( that's 5 now ( or maybe 6 ) ) however this one's in a #59 case compared to my two other cased with the clear/blue hanging plastic case :biggrin1:

Case isn't in the best condition but for the price.......

It still amazes me how antique shops seem to thing that and old razor, soap and hair increases the value of a razor, but it also amazes me how well these things clean up

No plate loss, no dings, nice smooth Rocket action.

Other than that only found just a few Gems and some VERY overpriced rusty/crappy straights ( oh and some VERY VERY overpriced Laurels ) :sneaky2:

I do like collecting Old Spice, so when this one came up as a BIN on ebay, I couldn't hit the button fast enough. These weren't a bargain and the nice wood rack that holds the containers is missing, but I'm learning you get what you can when you have the chance.

You either found some razors already in excellent shape Mr. Goodfella, or did a fantastic job cleaning them up. Either way they look great! :thumbup1:
