Similar to my last shave, I started preparing with a trip to the stones, first to the belgian blue with a slurry, diluting until water only. Then onto the belgian yellow, first with slurry and I kept diluting with a drop of water with each phase. Didn't count the strokes, just kept it going until the slurry moved over the blade in a smooth, ripple free line and it passed the HH test.




Letting that rich uberlather soak in with the assistance of a hot towel prepared the whiskers. Two passes. One wtg, one across. A nice, slow pace. ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL SHAVE!

Started the evening shave with a Treet Durasharp carbon (3rd) in an O-2 Super Adjustable (Favorite Razor 1). Quickly realized this blade was getting tired, and switched to Favorite Razor 2 with a Dorco 301.

Today's shave was tremendous (6 pm EST) I just cracked open my last puck of Col. Conk's Almond, and the scent, OOOHHHH the scent. I remember reading somewhere that U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower was a big fan of Almond shave products, and I can say I honestly understand why. I used my AoS Silvertip for whippin' up that lather, and was very pleased. The best part was the Clubman Classic Vanilla.

After a day in bed sick, I needed this shave badly! I hadn't even felt like shaving before work (all 2 hours prior to leaving to come home) yesterday so I was sporting a full four days growth. This was my first use of the RazoRock XXX - what great stuff! The lather was moist and luxurious and the scent was wonderful. The Dovo slid through the stubble like nobodies business and two passes (plus touch ups) later, I'm BBS and ready to make up for lost time yesterday...
