I was doing some grocery shopping today in Fiesta, a local grocery store. I was in the meat department and I realized that they were making and selling fresh chicharon, you might know them as pork rinds. They smelled great.

Looking at the display of fresh chicharon I knew that I had to be in the right place

Summer of 1992 (I was 19) I spent the summer in San Francisco with my aunt. Tired of sitting in her apartment, I took a walk around the city. After a few hours, I headed back home and was stopped on the street by a cop. He said "Are you looking for the movie set?" Having no clue what he was talking about, I nodded my head. I walked in the direction he pointed, rounded the corner and found my self in a small crowd. They were all crowded around a cluster of men sitting in chairs one of which was Mike Myers. They were filming the "Meats of the World" scene from "So I Married an Axe Murderer". He wasn't a huge star then, but I knew who he was from SNL.
