Yardley Gold Shave Cream

I just paid for some of this off of eBay on a lark since it was only $6. Just curious if anyone has tried both this and the vintage soap. What are the differences in Feel/scent/etc.? I appreciate any input.
I know this is made in India. I have tried several creams made in India that I have liked. Just wonder how this one will do.

Completely different scent than the old puck.A great cream,and so is the Indian Yardley "Excellence" cream,both with powerful cologne scents.The Indian Yardley talcs ARE very close to the old British versions.

Thanks. That was the biggest thing I was curious about was the scent. I've not had the pleasure of the vintage soap.

Tried this cream today and it performs wonderfully! It was very inexpensive, but performs like a top end cream. India really does a lot of creams right. Very good skin care and a great lather. Good cushion and slickness. I really liked the scent. I highly suggest it to anyone looking to try something new. You won't regret it.
