It looks like a Gibbs-type mechanism. The full description is:

I don't know of any other adjustable, slant-head razors. Uniqueness might justify the price.

If you want an Adjustable Slant Razor, Just take any quality Adjustable angle it and stroke with it angled straight down, up, or sideways. LOL

Well honestly I am not the guy spending big bucks on most thing out of China. Think Chinese are pricing themselves out of market.

This looks like it is along similar lines to the Rex Konsul Adjustable slant razor. @cpcohen1945, it is not unique.

I don't know anything about either, but the Yaqi is $200 cheaper.

Wait until they have a good sale, black friday or cyber monday might be a good time to buy Yaqi shave gear. They have the recent Ultima SS SLOPE slant 316 SSP adjustable razor is their latest one and from some reviews I have read and watched indicates it is a nice smooth shaver if a person is interested. I have a Yaqi 3pc Yaqi SLOPE 316 SS slant and it is affordable + shaves smooth(really no need for the another model right now for myself!)
I have bought a lot of Yaqi shaving gear over the years when they have sales and they make great shave products , middle of the road to some high end products IMO.
The Yaqi Ultima adjustable 316 SSP razor series(Similar to the French Gibbs 1930's adjustable razor variants) seems to be their high end razors according to pricing and workmanship detail.
