What's new

Wow, started at $1 each

I am not a hobbyist, but hig789 is, so I'm putting this in the brush forum for everyone to see. I got three old Ever-Ready brushes at a flea market for $1 each. After an investment of about what one nice brush would run, I have these in the mail:

With only using the VDH cheap boar, an Escali, and recently a Muhle Silvertip Fibre travel brush, I am very excited to get these. They look so much better than what I sent him.

Well great! Now I am going to be buying every ugly brush I find at an antique store and sending them to hig789! Amazing looking brushes!

Very nice brushes! I have a couple of brushes I'd like to restore so this is inspirational. Unfortunately, I already have too many brushes...

Excellent! May they serve you well!

Got them in, and wow. Used the black first. What a great brush. Can the high dollar brushes be that much better than these restores with Whipped Dog knots? They are just as nice as they look in the picture, and it is fun to have a completely old school set-up.
