Who have you met?

The RichGem and Chip thread got me to thinking about who I have met on this site. So far I have met Kyle, scorpio, msandoval, IssacRN and a few others. They were all great gentlemen and I enjoyed our visits.

Have you met anyone?

I had the great pleasure of meeting Nick2, Ray, Bob, Jim, and Scott. I consider it an honor that none of them pushed me in front of a cab.

On the down side, I missed a golden opportunity to meet a few other notables, including Pat and Tim. :frown:

I've met two gents. I guess I scared them away  Haven't seen either of them posting in a long time.

Hhmmm.....thinking about this, Wendy also met one of them, so maybe she frightened him, and I only scared one off.

Yeah, I'm sure of it; one each.

Did you forget thirdeye?

Did you forget thirdeye?

There's no forgetting that guy. For me, I've met thirdeye and Elo on a fishing trip that Papasmurf organized last August. Then there was this event where I've met other members of this board and other shaving forums. And I can honestly say that I've had no regrets so far with the time that I have spent with any of them.

I'll probably be NYC bound again in the next few months. I'm always open for meetups with others when I travel.

Well, I work with paul.c on a daily basis....other than that, I've yet to meet anyone from the forums.

'Twas my great pleasure to meet both Poulin and Jatte.

Suspect if I keep posting recipes here, I might meet Chip sooner than I know

Let's see:

Whole leaf lettuce or pita bread (or both)
Walnuts or pecans
Seedless grapes - halved (preferably quartered)
Cooked chicken breast - cubed
Celery- chopped
Mandarin orange slices or pineapple chunks
Red bell pepper- chopped

Minced garlic
Chili powder
Veg or fish oil
Peanut butter

2 cups of chicken, 1 cup of grapes, 1/3 cup pepper, 1/2 cup of everything else (except for the lettuce and bread). Mix in a big bowl.

1/4 cup or so of oil, 2 tbsp peanut butter, chili powder and garlic is up to you. Blend it up fine.

Either line the pita with the lettuce (my way) or if you're adventurous, use the lettuce as the wrap. Scoop the mix in and drizzle with the dressing.

Goes *really* well with Strongbow cider.

Hi, Chip

No one yet, but the east coast mods BBQ last month was only 15 minutes away from my home, and I swear could smell the brisket from here!

Does that count?

As already noted: Rabidpotatochip & Mrs. Chip.

one step closer to 'somewhere limecat's not pleased about'...it must be in the northeastern US...noted and logged...

i've unfortunately not had the pleasure to face to face with anyone on the site...I have however spoken on the phone with John Crissman...does that count??

I've met MoreSaltThanPepper, and talked to Poulin on the phone,

i wanna meet Bushcraft though :) i might just have to go to austrailia and new zealand to meet the bretheren down there,

me and MoreSalt would like to have a meet up of all the Calgary members though,
so if you in calgary... you know what to do PS. No Edmontonians
