who does rose gold plating?

I am interested as well. I have seen one rose gold razor. It caught some flack from quite a few people but I really admired it. I even bought a couple DEs in less than stellar condition with the idea of replating. Possibly in rose gold.

Try contacting member "onotoman". He was trying out plating with rose gold about a year ago. I remember he had a thread where he talked about trying to find a rose gold solution that he liked the tone of.

His website does not list rose gold as an option. I've spoken with him in the past and I can't recall him doing any rose gold. Maybe he will chime in and say.

I would rather find someone who is happy with rose gold they have had done rather than "go to the phone book" (google) and deal with an unknown.

I am giving 2 of my razors to my SWMBO - one will be done in bright nickel by our very own Krona Kruiser. However, I am interested in having the second one done in rose gold (pending more research).

• Does rose gold have the same limitations as "normal" gold plating such as an application of clear lacquer after plating?
• How is durability and wear? I know gold pretty much as short life if the razor is used.
• Do any of our approved vendors/hobbyists perform this service? I prefer to support our supporters
• Can anyone post some photos of razors replated in rose gold? I have viewed various threads but unfortunately there are not very many photo links that work anymore.

Hi Guys,

I can indeed do Rose Gold now - TTO in Rose Gold with Silver for the rest of the razor for a recent Red Tip or entire razors in Rose Gold.

Cost is same as 'Yellow' Gold at £35 GBP
