Whipped Dog 30 mm Measurements

I'm still thinking about making a handle for a 30 mm knot and I would like some baseline measurements that may help me design a handle.

I would really appreciate it someone that has a Whipped Dog 30 mm brush check some basic measurements for me.

Handle height

Base diameter

Widest spot diameter

Narrowest spot diameter

Diameter where knot emerges from handle

Knot loft

I'm thinking of using a 2"diameter x 2 1/4" long turning blank. I should be able to end up with a handle height of about 2 1/8" (I would like a little taller, but that doesn't look promising) and slightly under 2" at the widest spots.

Thank you very much. That gives me a base line for designing a handle.

The loft measurement seems off. I would have expected it to be 50 - 55 mm. It is a 65 mm knot and the typical depth of the knot hole is 10 mm. Perhaps the term I'm looking for is installed knot height.

The knot I installed in it ( 30mm TGN 2-band) measured 68mm so the loft would have been 56.4mm,(68-11.6) however I drilled out the handle to get a 50mm loft. I am posting pictures on another thread.

I ended up buying a handle and knot from Whipped Dog. I ordered it without the knot installed. I spaced it up for more loft and glued it in today. I'll probably try it out Sunday morning. I'll send pictures after it blooms. I spaced it up to where the plug nearly show and ended up with 58 mm of loft.
