In my house it is always apple, pecan, and pumpkin. Next year I think I will branch out a bit and try a few new ones.

Pecan.
We had pumpkin pie today already, we did a lunch thing. My father brought over a nice cheese cake with fruit on top. Last year we had something called " Ice Box Cake "
Thats 3 layers of gram crackers with choclote and vanilla pudding between each layer and kept in the fridge over night and to be served cold.

Try a rum pecan pie with a very good rum, those are always nice

I made two sweet potato pies with candied walnuts.
I did not make any but had a slice of pumpkin. My Dad always made the pumpkin and pecan pie until the day he died. My Mom then took over. With both of them being gone this year I did not dare try to make my own. I had a peice of Costco pie.

No shame in that. Costco's pies are pretty hard to beat. I've yet to meet one I didn't like!
Same. This year, though, the pumpkin pie was actually a pumpkin cream pie, with a ginger snap/butter crust. Topped with freshly whipped cream. Amazing.
This year I made my first sweet potato pie and the fiancé made a pumpkin cheese cake. Both were big hits with the families.
