Which razor does the DE89 resemble the most?

Hello Gents,

I am wondering if the EJ DE89 is closer to the Merkur HD or the Feather All Stainless when it comes to smoothness/mildness/being forgiving? Anyone who has tried all three of them and can shed some light on the matter?

Also I've read that the DE89 is like a Gillette Slim Adjustable set on 4 or 5. Where would the Feather land on the Slim-scale?

The HD is supposedly more aggressive and the AS is supposedly very mild.
One is more aggressive, the other is milder. Have only used the '89 but have read the same comments about them over and over again.

If the DE89 is similar to the HD, then maybe it would be more relevant to look at the Feather. I already have the HD and *think* I would prefer a milder razor to use with sharper blades rather than a fairly similar one.
