where to get handles?

Any suggestions on where to get brush handles? Although I appreciate custom, artisan type handles, I'm looking more for reasonably priced standard shapes and sizes similar to those that come with retail brushes. Thanks.

I picked up a Sabi resin handle for about $10 at www.shaveabuck.com but it doesn't look like they are currently offering them.

Check out a local antique store and you may find deal on a vintage handle or whippeddog.com usually has diffrent handles.

My handles all came from yard sales, flea markets, antique/junque shops, and eBay. Rip out the old knots, shine 'em up, and pop in a new badger knot and you're in business.

As others have mentioned, Whipped Dog sells handles by themselves. Most of the resin handles are only $6.00 (the 30 mm handle is $9.00). He has 20 mm, 22 mm, 24 mm, and 30 mm in various colors. Not all colors for all sizes at any given time. These are all the same basic shape though.

The Golden Nib offers several different sizes, colors, materials, and shapes. Most are around $20.00.
