Where to get a good and heavy 7/8 or 8/8 straight?

Having been shaving with various 5/8, 11/16, and 6/8. Realized that a heavy 7/8 or even 8/8 "meat-cleaver" could be something I would really like. Nothing really interesting comes up on eBay. Any thoughts/advice?

Strange, I see lots of big razors on ebay. They all need some loving though.

Just keep your eyes on the BST, they do pop up

I have a shavingshop 8/8 Friodur. It is a nice heavy razor. I am not a fan of the scales on the thing, but it is a good shaver.

Some interesting finds, in addition to the TI mentioned above, are the TI 7/8 olive wood on classicshaving, large W&B razors on the 'bay, Filarmonicas from the 'bay, and the larger wackers on shavingshop.

I've got a really nice 6/8" wedge, that is a really old Sheffield steel beauty.
It takes a great edge and gives that close super smooth shave the guys look for.

I was going to put this up on the BST a bit later in the year, but if your intersted drop me a pm and I can tell you about it. It's not cheap. Well it is relative to modern hand forged razors. It's made by G Johnson and for a razor that's over 170 years old it's still all original and nobody has messed with it.
