Where to buy scale materials?

I am about to work on a restore project for myself. And i don't know where to go to purchase certain scale materials in a 1/8" sheet form? I would like to pick up Abalone or acrylic sheets in a choice of colors. I am open for suggestions on scale material as well... thanks

You can't really get it in 1/8", but for acrylic, check out a local counter shop. Pick up corian type acrylic scraps. I think it's even easier that 1/8". You can work on a complete blank for your scales and then cut it down into two separate pieces.

There is a counter shop a couple miles from me. I head by every so often and take them a 12 pack of good imported beer. They've always let me have all the sink cut outs and end pieces that I could ever use and never charged me a penny.

Masecraft supply has a lot of that stuff. Also try Texas knife supply because they carry it too.
