What's new

What's your favorite C&R pistol?

S&W 3913 usually, but lately a Canik C-100 is being used more often: light, stays with 9MM fixation I have, and, at $300.00 it is not a great loss if stolen, lost, etc.

Nagant revolver... NOT! Interesting as a collector piece, but nasty shooter.
CZ52 was prolly the ugliest handgun ever made, I fired about 70 rounds through that fireball spitter, felt no love there.

Had and East German Makarov that was beautiful and I liked plenty, but decided I wanted a full size modern pistol and sold it.

I think bang for the buck is likely the CZ82.

I've been spending far too much on shaving gear and have neglected my other hobbies.

Thus, my favorite C&R handgun is my only C&R handgun...

Grandpa's Colt 1903. Serial number dates to 1917
Mom said he got it "just after the war"

Don't think either one of these pistols are considered C&R. Both require an FFL to complete the transfer.

I am surprised no one has mentioned any 1911s.

Recently picked up a Sistema 1911. A licensed Argentinian copy using Colt equipment under Colt supervision.

Everytime you post this pic, I just stop and stare. Absolutely amazing firearm.

Sad thing is, I've had it for over a year and I haven't had a chance to get to the range with ANY of my guns since.
Things have been too crazy with work and life.
It's not for a lack of ammo... heck, I've let my boss borrow 3 of my guns over the last year along with 50rd boxes of ammo (and he's been gentle, not shooting the whole box).
Right now, he's got my 1911.

I really need to get this 32 out to the range.

Webley .455. Problem is finding one I can afford. :)

The CZ82/CZ83 is one of my favorite small pocket pistols, and I'm generally not a huge fan of the category. The Makarov and Colt 1903/FN1910 are up there too.

CZ-82 but the CZ -52 was fun to tinker with. New grips and trigger work made it a nice pistol to shoot.
