Roasted some organic Uganda Bugisu in time for Sunday coffee

This was a chaff monster! There was so much chaff that I had trouble brewing the coffee, my brew times were way too long. I think that the chaff got pulverized into dust in my grinder and really contributed to the slow brew times. Next time I'll do a better job of getting the excess chaff out of the beans.

Brazil Cerrade SWP Decaf

These were my second and third roasts. My first roast was a half pound of Brazil Cerrade SWP Decaf and I went a little too far into second crack to be drinkable.
 
I don't have a pic of the beans, but I'm currently brewing a blend intended for espresso. 1/2 Daterra Sunflower Espresso, 1/2 Ethiopian Yirgacheffe at a Full City roast.

Terrific espresso, and makes a terrific latte/cappuccino/Americano, with terrible latte art :lol:



(brewed on my Gaggia Classic w/ Rancilio Silvia steam wand...next up is the SPV mod, and maybe someday a PID)
