What TOBS to pick?

Have finally earned enough Swagbucks for required Amazon giftcards to get TOBS + delivery to Canada. Have never tried their offerings before. What should I start with? Leaning towards Sandalwood, although the lemon/lime seems intriguing.

Grapefruit is the one I've been using and seems to be a big hit. The smell is fantastic on a warm summer morning, like someone just cut a grapefruit in half. Fantastic slick lather that's easy to make as well.

I'm a big fan of Mr Taylor. Although, I find Proraso Red is probably going to replace it in my rotation, so I will likely opt for Grapefruit or Avocado next time I order TOBS.

I make regular use of Eton College, Jermyn St, and Sandalwood. I recently added Grapefruit and it'll be a winner for anyone who enjoys that scent since it is amazingly true to a fresh cut one.

I've used most of the TOBS shaving creams and have yet to find one I didn't like. My staples are Rose and Lavender, but I've recently added Coconut and Avocado. My sentimental favourite is Rose, but it is more a case of primus inter pares.

only know the Grapefruit since Phil at BG recommended it to me. Great smell. I have not gotten the same slip and performance out of it as I have fro the cheapo Euro supermarket stuff such as Palmolive Italian, Proraso green or Nivea (most slip). But I may just not do the water ratios right just yet.

I wonder, I get 10 tubes of all of the Euro supermarket stuff for one tub of TOBS...not sure if that is a good deal for me since I like then even better.

Either you've got a great deal on the supermarket brands or you're getting ripped off on TOBS!

If you are at all partial to citrus, then absolutely buy the TOBS Grapefruit. Marvelous in every way,but they particularly captured the fresh and Real scent of grapefruit here. Its superb,IMO, Craig

just got back from Europe with a bag full of palomolve sticks (Euro 0.75), palmolive cream at 0.85, Nivea cream at 1.25. Never tried the Nivea cream before but I like the new scent and performance is very great. My favorite of any cream, the palmolive Italian formula with menthol I could not find in Germany and Switzerland.

TOBS I can not touch under $16. maybe I am missing something here but that's 20 tubes of Palmolive and 30 tubes of Balea (0.65 Euro).

Haven't tried the Grapefruit and it sounds great but of the remaining choices I would go with Rose. Love the scent and the performance.

So far everyone has just suggested what THEY like. The OP asked specifically about Sandalwood and Lemon & Lime.

Personally, I'd recommend Grapefruit, Jermyn St, St James and Mr Taylor. Sandalwood was nice, but not enough to warrant buying a full tub. I threw out my avocado, coconut and lemon & lime samples after one try because they weren't nice at all. YMMV.

Well with shipping it's running me $26 to get to Canada. Thing is that Amazon.ca is fairly useless for any shaving supplies. TOBS is one of the few things that ships to Canada from Amazon.com and I don't have anything else I really need off Amazon
