yes, Klar make two types of soap: the Kabinett and the one, which is more luxurious, that comes in a travel can. The can soap scent is wood/citric. Very nice, it is one of my favorites. Very traditional. I don't use Kabinett, but is also good. It has less scent, less moisture and less lubrification. However, both make a gorgeous lather. I just love Klar seife.

And just to add my opinion: you can talk about Tabac, Speick, Gold dachs. However, the real traditional German soap is Klar. Can't get anything more classic than that.

Looks like I'll be getting some Klar then as most of the other stuff seems pretty easy to get a hold of over here. I looked on their website and the shaving stuff seems to have a bar and a tub. I tried using an online translator which wasn't much help. The English read like a Japanese Morinaga candy bar wrapper. Any help on the difference on the two (bar and tub) will be helpful. Ed
