D R Harris is just a small chemist shop, a place to go and buy some aspirins. It is possibly the nearest shop to where Prince Charles lives in London, so it is his chemist "by royal appointment".
About half the shop is given over to shaving stuff, mixed in alongside the ointments and medicines. I asked them what is their signature product and they said Arlington.
Most shaving creams sold by the various grooming shops in St James's in London are made by Creightons in Peterborough. But each one is made to a different recipe decided upon by the brand.
D R Harris is definitely at the lush end of the spectrum of what is out there, and, if anything, is more exclusive then the 3Ts.

I'm definitely finding that to be the case. Of the 3, I consistently find that Trumpers is significantly lacking in the cushion department compared to the other two. Granted it's good, but no better than Proraso or Speick for me. Taylors and Truefitt are better, and for me are virtually indistinguishable except for the scents, and Truefitt is ever so slightly slicker and more luxurious (but not 2x the price better).
The Harris cream nuked them all. I'm putting this stuff on my birthday wishlist.
The Harris rose cream is very nice.
You guys make it sound so good that I probably shouldn't try it. It's too expensive for me to like it that much. I need to stick to the cheaper stuff.
It's really not. Check out the BST. I have Arlington, and it is amazing. I don't even care for the scent and it's still amazing.
Remember, a tub will last you a long, long time. Over 6-12 months, a tub is really not that expensive.

I tried the Dr Harris Arlington hard soap for the first time last night. That was freekin awesome too! I reckon that must have EXTRA people in it!

Clubbed or unclubbed? I hear clubbing softens up the tallow and makes it even more supple.
