Well just like the title of this thread says I’m looking for any recommendations on what shaving soap to use… I would like a very smooth soap, any recommendations are welcome! Bonus points for a good scent.

Captain's Choice, Lisa's, Stirling, and CBL Soaps spring to mind. Hard to go wrong with any scents from these good folks.

Proraso is good. Salter cream also.

Whether you SR or DE shave makes a difference. Some soaps work well for one and not the other. Some work well for both and some just don't work.
SR shavers are more in want of slickness while DE shavers like to also experience some "cushion", whatever that is.
