What is your all time favorite soft soap or "croap"

So what soft soap do you think is the best out there? Based on performance. I haven't tried a lot but so far Martin de Candre is probably the best I've tried yet. I didn't care for Cella in the red tub but I may try the kilo block as I hear it is different stuff.

My favorite is QCS specifically in the Green Irish Tweed scent.

By the way, I have never heard that Cella in the red tub is different from the 1kg block. Has a reliable source confirmed this?

Wow! 4th post and we have 'twins'! :001_cool:

Queen Charlotte Green Irish Tweed scent. If I had to do one of those "shave for the rest of your life" polls that would be the choice.

About the Cella, it has never been officially stated, but Marco, our resident Doctor of Italian Soapology reports that many experienced shavers and professional barbers in Italy feel there is a slight difference. There is a thread about it somewhere. Marco will probably pop in and answer more fully, though, it's his favorite soap, I believe.

There was a thread about it not long ago. Im not sure if it's been confirmed but they do have different wording on The packaging

My soap list consist of (but not limited to lol);
Tabac, Cella, Mike's Natural Soaps, Klar Klassik, Dr Dittmar, Tcheon Fung Sing, Martin de Candre.
With Calani and The Art of Shaving on schedule to arrive the coming month,
the current collection is such that it is impossible for me to choose just one.
Let me just say there are soaps out there so great, it made me realize that, to me, MdC is not the soap to end all other soaps.
However absolute top-of-the-top performers for me are:

Klar Klassik
Martin de Candre
Mike's Natural Soaps
Tcheon Fung Sing (artisan line)

But if it must be a true croap then Tcheon Fung Sing (artisan line) would be the one.

In the future choosing is going to be harder and harder. On my list left are soaps like Cade, Institut Karité, I Coloniali, DH Harris.
Bad and mediocre performers are not to be replaced. It's a small investment, but the idea is to end up with nothing but top notch stuff.

My favorite is Cella Crema Sapone Extra Extra Purissima. There is a difference between the red tub and the brick. Joe @ Italian Barber told me that "Ingredients are the same.. but there is a slight variation in proportion of ingredients... also, the curing of the brick is different."

Cella here too. Marco had a thread lately that indeed confirmed Raccoon&Brushs' comments above...there is a difference. For the cost, I'd bet it's hard to find a better value than Cella.
