There are some aspects of wet shaving that really pose a temptation for me when it comes to acquisition disorder. Yet there are other things that barely interest me at all, but they seem to really get other people jazzed up.

Right now my AD is brushes.... I just bought close to a dozen old handles to refinish and reknot... and the great Rudy Vey will be working on one for me as well.

Right now it is all about brushes, but my safety razor AD and shaving cream/soap AD come back from the dead from time to time.
In the future, I see a serious straight ad setting in as I look at them all day on here......which will lead to a strop AD as well, I'm sure.

Soaps and creams|Shaving brushes|After shaves and colognes|Starting to get a jones for more straight razors too with all of the recent wonderful offerings on the B/S/T

Mostly cremes and aftershaves of which I have 13 in total - I'm still fine with my one razor and brush I use. I don't see why to invest a lot more into them since I'm very happy with them.

I've never tried pre-shaves, though. Let's see how that develops once I started.

Tell us what you really like though....:w00t::w00t::w00t:

I'm on soap now and will be moving to SE razors/injectors soon.

my AD is for soaps and creams. Doesn't mean I won't acquire a new brush or maybe a new razor every now and then, but my preference is for different soaps and creams to try. And it's interesting to see how well they lather using either a badger or a boar.

Stones, Straights, blades, soaps and maybe a cream.

While the AD's have simmered down quite a bit, I still window shop which usually leads to more window shopping and eventually a purchase.

I was on a soap and cream one a little while back. Now Im all about the razors and seemingly the older the better.

Safety razors are the only thing that really trigger the gotta-have-its for me, and even that may be in remission. I'm no longer looking for anything actively, but there are still a few I might buy if I stumbled across them.

The other stuff, well, I appreciate what it does, but it's just not as interesting.

Me too - just add "vintage" in front of them guys.

oh. aftershaves, too. (vintage.)

colognes.

how come no "all of the above" choice?

Brushes are hands down my biggest weakness....especially expensive ones. Razors and soaps are both guilty pleasures as well, but they are only about 1/3 as bad as the brush compulsion.

I was really eating up some RAD this time last year, but it's been a while since the bug hit me. Still, Gillette superspeeds? I can't get enough.
