I want to pick up a shave stick eventually for traveling and I'm looking mostly at QED and Mama Bear's, but there's so many scents to choose from. What's your favorite? (Of those two or another type)

Tabac makes a shave stick ... the scent is ... well, the scent is 100% 'tabac', which is either a good thing or a bad thing. 
Superb soap, though.
DR Harris makes shave sticks ... again, superb soap, and Arlington and Marlborough are great scents too.

I've milled several soaps (MWF, Penhaligons BB, Provence Sante) into these $1.65 shave stick tubes. You could always purchase any puck and mill 1/2 into the tube. I use these tubes at home instead of bowls and they work great. If you don't want to go that route I would suggest the DR Harris Arlington shave stick.
I have seven QED shave sticks and all I can tell you is to look at the list and pick what looks interesting to you.

Palmolive smells great and lathers nicely, and so far is my favorite stick soap. I have a Mama bears aged spice, which like all Mama Bears soaps(at least the ones I have experienced) does a real nice job and smells great.

+1. The scent seems slightly stronger on the floral side, compared to the puck. And it lathers wonderfully!
I feel I must add some further confusion here - Wilkinson Sword shave stick. Inoffensive citrussy smell that doesn't linger so you can choose whatever A/S you like.

Since you can get a Tabac shave stick, the best scent is Tabac. An alternate is Sir Irisch Moos. Scent isn't as good as Tabac.

I like DR Harris Almond and Palmolive shave stick. Awesome scents.
I'm a big fan of Valobra and if you're looking for a classic scent in a glycerin stick, MB Dublin Tweed.
+1 on Valobra. It's light, but rich.
I'll vote for Palmolive. It's cheap, the lather is great, the scent is very subtle but fresh and soapy - yes, it's got Ci 74260 and Ci 11680 which I'd love Palmolive to get rid of, but apart from that it's one kickass soap.
