What is the best of badger and blade ?
how many time you visit this forum?
I think what make this forum great is the versatility in wet wet shaver like DE, straight razor and others.
In my opinion B&B have the best review area and very educational comments .

The free ice cream and ponies.

Between the wisdom of the old hands, the enthusiasm of the new users, the vast and varied collective experience level, the feeling of community, the generally amiable behavior and the unique sense of humor, it's hard to beat.

Plus, there's stuff about shaving.

That about sums it up nicely!

As high a degree of courtesy as one can expect with such large membership, genuinely helpful members, a wealth of information for those who are actually interested in shaving, the possibility to chat about other things for those who are less interested.

And there is the pleasure of arguing with people about things that are completely trivial, such as the qualities of soaps, blades, or particular razors. Beats arguing about politics or religion.

A great bunch of guys who are ready, willing and able to help me spend every extra dollar I find in my pocket.

IMO the people at B&B are the best part! Great folks in here.

All the amazing people who are so open to helping and sharing. It's a real community.

+1 I like the people and the lack of drama here. 99% of other boards I have been on have had a much more combative culture. Here people can in generally rationally disagree and discuss an issue. Even the threads about the new BST rules have been mostly civil. I cant think of another forum where an issue this polarizing would not break down into something much less cordial.

I came here initially for the product reviews and basic information on wet-shaving. I joined to have access to BST. I stay for the members who show that, in this increasingly harried and hostile world, there are still people out there who can interact with each other with good cheer, civility and intelligence. Finding a place where gentlemen routinely treat each other as such makes it that much easier to continue to act similarly in my day to day interactions.

The positivity, civility, and generosity of the members here is fantastic.

I come here to learn about how many different shaving products out there when I previously committed to Barbasol and an Atra razor.

Someone needs to stand up to, er I mean, for the Clown House.
We have a little fun and it is a great place to blow off some steam.

TG really summed it up well in very few words. But, as you all know, I am not a man of few words!!!

The folk here are real, and we're all friends that live in the same community. We share a shaving hobby, but also share much, much more. We talk about food, drink, smoke, music, and anything else that comes to mind at any given time. We even have a house full of clowns . . . or something like that!

What makes this group very, very real to me is our recent loss of "Saint" Sue. Her illness was real, her posts about it honest and sharing. Wendy continued to communicate when Sue was too ill to do so, and she shared the things we were posting with her Mom. She and her family were (and continue to be) in my thoughts and prayers, and when she passed I sat at my desk and cried.

Real friends, real discussions, real fun, real life.

Can't get any better than that!
