What are you planning on fixin'...who knows, I may show up....

Will have the usual grilled items, hamburgers & hot dogs....Corn on the cobb, maybe a cold pasta salad....We use a Webber kettle charcoal grill.....Nothing fancy, but somehow burgers and dogs always taste better when they're grilled outdoors over charcoal.

Hope eveyone enjoys the Memorial Day weekend......Thoughts of rememberance for those who have given their lives in service to our country.

Just grilled a side of salmon to a nicely crusted exterior with a bullseye medium rare center. Sides of grilled zucchini, glazed carrots, and roasted brussels sprouts.

Well . . . I'm a Canuck so our holiday was last week. But what the heck I'll join in for memorial day . . . well on Saturday or Sunday. I think it is time for Steak . . . maybe an Angus Striploin . . . Potato wedges parboiled then add a little garlic and olive oil and grill to golden. Fresh crops not quite coming on as yet so . . . carrots . . .maybe baby carrots bit of butter and maple syrup glaze.

The classics never tire. I'll be grilling up my famous burgers and some hot dogs, but since I just threw my hat into the BBQ ring, I'll also be taking my first shot at brisket and ribs. Burgers, dogs, and ribs on one weber charcoal, and the brisket will be in a smoker I just picked up this winter for a steal.
